The original Museletter was created for those who love snail mail. Handwritten from the Writers Nest, it included writing prompts, quotes, book recommendations, found objects, and super secret surprises. The Museletter traveled via envelopes and stamps to kids across the United States and as far as Brazil and Hong Kong! This lasted for a year and was a lot of fun to create. I may handwrite another year’s worth again sometime, so sign up for the electronic Museletter below to receive seasonal updates.

P.S. Creating the Museletter helped me dream up Write Back Soon! Adventures in Letter Writing (Roost Books/Shambhala, 2015) which is like a long letter I penned just for y-o-u. WBS! has international distribution so you can find it at your favorite Independent bookseller…& send a copy to a friend anywhere in the world. Teachers can also order direct from Penguin Random House and receive Educator Discounts for their students. FYI: Teachers, Write Back Soon! is Common Core approved for sixth grade and up.
